The Centre was established in 2004 and currently has over 25 disabled persons on roll. A unique feature of this Centre is that all the needs of the Disabled are met under one roof, providing great relief to parents as Doctors and Therapists visit the Centre at periodic intervals. The Centre adopts the method of involving parents to join their training activity . Many of the independent living skills are taught to children through their parents, who can monitor them at home and make them perform each individual skill set repeatedly. Yet another special feature is the unique attempt to allow normal children to interact with the special ones through Inclusive system of education at this Centre. pic3

The Centre also provides counselling, conducts/participates in Workshops, parent-to-parent support sessions, assistance to secure Disability Certifications, Concessional travel fares, free medical insurance, wheel chair donations, mobility aids and surgical support to the needy. Balajothi is a boon to parents who are worried about the future of their disabled children.
